When I was in high school, I designed and installed a quadrophonic sound system in my home to play my favorite album: Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon. I had four speakers installed, powered by two stereo amplifiers. It sounded great. I could hear the sound rotating in circles. This can not be heard in a stereo sound system with two speakers.

When I was studying at University, there were a lot of member clubs to join, spending free time the best way. I was a member of the film club. We were allowed to watch original movies unavailable to the public. All movies from different countries were original without subtitles. In my last year at University, I married my long-time girlfriend, who finished Jagiellonian University, and our daughter was born.

I emigrated to the US in 1979 to live with my Mama, who had a house on personal property in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I started working as an Electronic and Mechanical Design Team Manager at Sony. Later decided to run my own business. I owned and managed two private companies. One was the first Internet Service Provider in Florida. The second was hosting clients’ servers in Data Center. Linux is my favorite operating system software. I installed Linux on servers to provide fast and easy-to-manage servers.

I ran WordPress on my personal servers a few years ago and used Google AdSense on my 20 domains. I made a total of about $300 to $500 per month. Running WordPress on your servers is not the best way to host domains because you have to spend a lot of time maintaining secure and updated software. That is why I switched to one of the best domain hosting providers.

I use personal computers, tablets, and iPhones made only by Apple. I bought iPhone for my wife and kids on the first day it was released for sale on June 29, 2007. Since each family member had iPhone, I canceled my old-style home phone service. To keep old photos, documents, and any data that requires extra storage space, I use cloud storage on Apple and Google.

About five years ago, I was selling domain names on auctions at Sedo.com. The highest price I got for one domain was $25,000.

I used to have a professional diver license and enjoyed diving in Key Largo and Key West underwater parks. When I was driving my boat close to the beach north of Fort Lauderdale, a small white baby shark came to the side of my craft. I was going to touch it, but suddenly I saw two giant sharks a few feet away. I would be dead if my hand touched their baby.

We went a few times on a family vacation in Italy. We visited Rome, Milan, and Venice. We saw Andrea Bocelli standing in front of one of the churches and singing on Piazza del Duomo in Milan. My wife did visit the original stores of famous designers like Gucci and Versace. We went to Vatican City in Rome to see the Pope. In Venice, I visited a Wine Shop and a Murano Glass Factory.

A few years ago, after emergency surgery on my colon doctor told me that I needed to take fiber to help digestion without pain. I follow his direction every day. Every morning I take one teaspoon of Konsyl Psyllium Fiber diluted in a cup of warm water. The first time in the morning before eating anything and the second time in the evening also before eating food. Another source of fiber is breakfast cereal. I use Muesli because it does not have corn like all other cereals. Muesli was developed a hundred years ago in Europe. I only like the Gluten Free, European Style that Bob’s Red Mill manufactures.

Last year to make my wife happy, I decided to remodel the kitchen for her. I had an IKEA Kitchen Planner help me create the remodel plan. My wife wanted a black quartz countertop. The color was unavailable for a year, so we chose light gray. I decided to remove the old and install the new myself to complete the remodeling. All the new parts were shipped, and I started removing the cabinets. My wife drove me to the emergency room because my left hip had failed. I had it replaced. Three months later, I had my right hip replaced. I am walking like a young person. Contractors hired by my wife completed kitchen remodeling. Now she is happy.

I like electronics, software programming, and mathematics. I program in C and assembly language. About five years ago, I designed and programmed a garage door opener accessible from anywhere in the world. I was going to develop an app for iPhone but decided not to do it because too many people would not use it, and I could not make any money.

My favorite drinks are natural spring water, plain dark roast Italian coffee, and Italian red wine. I do not watch TV. Waiting for something I would like to watch is not my idea. I use my iPad to search for what I want to watch. My favorites are Latest News and YouTube.

I am smart, which is why I drive a Smart electric car. Most people think it is small. I am 6.1 feet tall and have no problem sitting inside. It is swift because eclectic motors have full power at startup. There is only one small problem with my favorite car. At full charge, the maximum distance to drive is only 70 miles.

When I was in my early 30s, the worker leaving the company to retire told me the best advice he could give me was to: “never get old.” I did not think this was good advice then, but I am still around.
